I think that the horrible color scheme, awful interior, disgusting rear, and the fact that it's an auto are preventing you guys from noticing any positives in this particular car. I see two positives: 1. The hood lines modernize the car a great bit and looks a ton better than our stock hood line. Looks exotic although I like simplictic style so the black paint that emphasize the lines aren't necessary. Con to the pro: It makes it even more difficult, if not impossible, to get any engine work done. Since the hood opening is so narrow and the fenders are molded into what was a large portion of the hood, the motor would have to come out through the bottom of the car. Hope you've got a lift and don't mind removing the entire front subframe. 2. The side profile (not including the hatch) looks pretty good. Once again I'm refering to the lines as it opens up to a wide body rear. Once again, the black lines are not my cup of tea. Con to the pro:Not everyone likes widebodies. I think one of the things that really bring differentiate modern cars over older ones are sharp body lines. The Z, along with most cars of the 90s, is rounded in almost every way. Not one sharp crease. I think the way the owner incorporated the sharp lines in the hood and side helped the Z not look so dated. Don't get me wrong, I would never own such a thing or do such a thing but I can commend the owner on 2 things well done (form, not function) out of a shittty overall project. The color is definitely the most horrid part of this project. Had it been a Superwhite Z with an all black leather (not vinyl) interior and a stock rear end, it would have looked so much better.
